There are circumstances where the immune system needs to be stimulated. For example during vaccination, cytokines can be used to boost the immune response. Our technology allows us to design a peptide that can function as a biomimecking peptide with multiple functionality. This strategy eliminates the need for using more than one cytokine during vaccination and achieving stronger immune response. This approach could prove more efficient in enhancing potent adjuvant activity upon immunization and anti-cancer therapeutics.
